We offer at-home teeth whitening using custom-made whitening trays. The final result will depend on the natural shade of your teeth before treatment.
General information
A bright, white smile is something many people would like to have. Teeth whitening has become increasingly popular, and there are now many different treatments available. Although whitening can be very effective in many cases, it is not suitable for everyone. Unsafe whitening methods can damage your teeth and gums, so it is important to choose a safe and professionally supervised treatment. We therefore recommend whitening your teeth under the guidance of your dentist.
Before starting treatment, we first assess whether your teeth are suitable for whitening. This may include an oral examination and, if necessary, X-rays. During this initial appointment, we also assess the type and extent of any discolouration.
Approximately two weeks after completing the whitening treatment, we will assess the result with you and take new clinical photographs.
The final result depends on the natural starting shade of your teeth. In general, whitening treatment can make the teeth approximately one to one-and-a-half shades lighter than their original colour.
Fees
Treatment fees must be paid at the reception desk immediately after your appointment, preferably by debit card or, if necessary, in cash. This overview is intended as a general indication only. As every patient requires an individual treatment plan, the final costs may vary from person to person.
Our fees are based on the Performance and Tariff Decision for Dental Care issued by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit, NZa), valid from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. For more information about dental costs and reimbursements, please visit allesoverhetgebit.nl.

FAQ
Can’t find the answer to your question? Please feel free to contact us.
When used as directed and under the supervision of your dentist, at-home teeth whitening should not cause any lasting damage to your teeth.
During teeth whitening, the enamel may temporarily become more susceptible to staining. This effect is temporary and the enamel will recover naturally.
Certain foods and drinks can negatively affect the whitening result. These include coffee, tea, red wine, fizzy drinks, citrus juices and strongly coloured foods such as fruit jam.
For the best possible result, we recommend avoiding these products during the whitening treatment. Smoking should also be avoided, as it can cause staining and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
