Introduction to our practice policies

We believe in treating each other and our patients with respect. This contributes to a pleasant working environment, positive collaboration, good treatment outcomes and satisfied patients. To help achieve this, we have established the practice policies below. We kindly ask you to respect these policies.

Keeping your contact and medical details up to date

Please inform us as soon as possible of any changes to your address, medication use or medical condition.

Checking in for your appointment

If you have an appointment at TANDZORG.NL, you can check in upon arrival using the check-in screen. This also gives you the opportunity to check that we have your correct telephone number and email address.

Arriving late or cancelling an appointment

If you arrive late for an appointment, there is a risk that your treatment cannot be completed as planned or may even need to be cancelled due to the resulting lack of time.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask you to contact us as soon as possible and at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not cancel your appointment on time or fail to attend without notifying us, the appointment may be charged.

Treatment running over time

Occasionally, a treatment may take longer than anticipated, which may cause your dentist or other dental professional to run behind schedule and the next appointment to start later. We appreciate your understanding.

Payment at reception

Your bill should be paid at reception after your treatment, by debit card or, if preferred, in cash. We recommend that you check carefully which treatments and services are covered by your insurance and what the maximum reimbursement is, so that you are not faced with any unexpected costs.

Treatment estimates for extensive treatments

For extensive treatments, we will provide you with a treatment estimate. Our reception team will be happy to help you calculate your expected personal contribution for the proposed treatment using PIEN Support.

The amounts stated in the estimate are indicative only and no rights can be derived from them. Changes to the treatment plan and fee adjustments will be implemented where necessary.

Damage or theft

TANDZORG.NL is not liable for any damage to, loss of or theft of your personal belongings. We advise you not to leave your belongings unattended.

Mobile phones on silent

In the waiting room and during your treatment, we kindly ask you to put your mobile phone on silent or switch it off.

Smoking and pets

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the practice. In addition, pets cannot be admitted to a medical practice. Unfortunately, this means that your four-legged friend will have to stay at home.

Security cameras

To help ensure the safety of our patients and staff, security cameras are in use at the entrance and in the waiting areas.
